Basalt is also known as Texas Star or Texas Black Star.
Basalt is very dark in color and contains streaks of white quartz. When wet basalt is a beautiful black color. It can be used in numerous project types and makes for very attractive walkways and water features. At Bedrock Stone, we carry Black Bassalt in 3/8", 5/8" and screening sizing.
